Louis Latour

Louis Latour 12 Bottle Wine Crate

Winery: Louis Latour

Country: France

Region: Burgundy

Sub-Region: Beaune

Production: Overall production is very large, and Louis Latour is the prominent wine maker in Beaune

Grape: Like most famous Burgundian wineries Louis Latour harvests on single vineyards. The primary grapes harvested for the Louis Latour wine collections are Pinot Noir and Chardonney

Crate design: Possibly the most highly detailed wine crate there is. The long side of the crate has an intricately engraved picture of the original estate, and 3 other sides which are branded as well.

Rarity: Uncommon. Even though Louis Latour is a large producer, the majority of their wines stay in France.

Crate designation: Exclusive Class ($50.00)

Our opinion/history: Established in 1797, Louis Latour is an ancient winery that survived the French Revolution. The winery is now still owned by the original family and has expanded dramatically through Burgundy and beyond. Louis Latour is now a major wine producer and Negociant for wines wines worldwide.
